Our Leadership

Our executive committee is comprised of industry veterans and an integral part of our company’s success. We work with the owner, general contractor and the designers as a team to guarantee a high quality job. Briggs’ dedicated employees provide a total package of commitment, quality and customer service.

Jeff Perry

President

Jeff graduated from Colorado State University majoring in Construction management. After working for a local General Contractor, Jeff joined the family business in 1991.

Todd Perry

CFO

Todd graduated from the University of Arizona with a double major in Accounting and Finance. After working in public accounting and obtaining his CPA license, he came to work for the Family business in December of 1995.

Greg Dye

General Manager – NV

Nevada
Greg oversees Briggs Electric’s Northern Nevada and Northern California operations. Greg started at BE in 1981 as an apprentice and worked in many facets of the trade before taking on the role of GM in 1996.

Jonathan Anderson

Director of Operations – NV

Nevada
Jonathan has demonstrated BE’s values and standards at the highest levels over the past 18 years. He oversees all project management, QA/QC and assists with scheduling workforce and safety.

Frank Gandara

Director of Business Development – CA

Frank oversees our business development, pre-construction, and estimating departments. With more than four decades of industry experience, Frank has a solid moral compass and an ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.

DAVE LEGARZA

Dave has 35 years of experience in all aspects of the electrical construction industry. Dave excels at organizing and planning and knows how to provide the best value to our clients.

Todd Lorenz

Director of Preconstruction – CA

With 34 years of experience, Todd can review design documents and develop efficient, complete, and constructible models and prefab drawings. In addition, Todd oversees all aspects of the BIM and Pre-Fab departments.

S.E. Briggs starts company from his home

The Beginning

S.E. Briggs is started by S.E. Briggs and based out of his garage in Newport Beach, CA.

Gaining Momentum

Bob Briggs joined his father, S.E., in business, and the company name was changed to S.E. Briggs & Son, Inc.

First Office

S.E. Briggs & Son, Inc. moved to a new location on Randolph Street in Costa Mesa, CA.

Briggs Electric is Established

Tom Perry is named Superintendent and starts Briggs Electric with Bob Briggs. Each owning 50% of the company, which purchases the assets of S.E. Briggs & Son, Inc.

Tom Perry Becomes CEO

Tom Perry becomes President of Briggs Electric, and Bob Briggs assumes a minor role as Chairman of the Board.

Beginning of Expansion

Tom Perry and Greg Dye, a former Briggs Electric foreman, begin operations in Carson City, Nevada, with three employees working out Greg’s Garage.

Growing

The Nevada Division outgrows its small office in Carson City and moves to a new building.

Introduction of Briggs Datacom

Briggs Electric joined forces with Advanced Network Consulting (ANC), and Briggs Datacom was established.

Expanding

Briggs Electric completes construction and relocates to a new 20,000 sq ft. facility in Tustin, CA.

Project Success

Nevada Division moves into their new 20,000 sq. ft. building in Carson City, NV.

Leadership Shifts

Jeff is named President, Randy Perry as Vice President, Todd as CFO, and Tom as Chairman.

2013

In late 2012 Tom Perry passed away. His two sons, Jeff and Todd Perry, became the owners of Briggs Electric. Each obtains a 50% interest in the company.
